Cookie Policy

Last updated: 26 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on monmyip.io, and how you can manage them.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) to remember your preferences.

2. Consent and Google Consent Mode v2

On your first visit we show a consent banner. By default all optional cookies (analytics and marketing) are disabled until you give consent. We use Google Consent Mode v2 — until you accept, no analytics or marketing data is collected.

3. Cookie categories

4. Third-party cookies

We use Google services (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager), provided by Google Ireland Ltd. Tag Manager container ID: GTM-PRPH9WQD. Google Analytics 4 anonymizes IP addresses by default and we do not use it for individual profiling. Data may be transferred to the USA under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and the Data Privacy Framework. Independently of the banner, you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely by installing the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Learn more: Google Privacy Policy.

5. How to manage cookies

You can change your preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — this may limit some features.

6. Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Google Analytics cookies are usually stored for up to 14 months. Your consent record is kept for up to 12 months.
